Signal Processing Engineer
Itvintrelc is looking for motivated DSP engineers to help us make an immediate impact for our customers located in the USA and internationally. - Conduct applied research and development, including the development and assessment of signal processing algorithms against real-world data
- Perform signal detection, characterization and geolocation analysis on data collected by existing sensor systems
- Define and fine tune sensor and SIGINT processing systems for optimal performance
- Design prototype systems for testing cutting edge signal processing algorithms in software as research progresses towards practical application
- A love for technology and enthusiasm for the challenge of solving complex problems
- Bachelor’s or Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or a related field
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in digital signal processing, communication system design, or software defined radio (SDR) development.
- Experience in multiple signal processing areas including adaptive filter theory, spectral estimation, detection and estimation theory, linear algebra, and/or stochastic processes
- Worked with a software-based signal processing environment such as X-Midas, GNURadio, MATLAB, REDHAWK, M2K, M2Extra, or other related application
- Software proficiency in multiple programming languages (C/C++) and scripting languages (Python)
- Up to date with modern signal processing advances in wireless communications and software defined radios (SDR)
- Either possess an active US Government TS/SCI security clearance, or are eligible to obtain one through an extensive background investigation (typically requires a clean criminal background, US Citizenship, etc)
